Litchfield Cavo is deeply saddened to share that our colleague and friend, Bill Pelosi passed away on August 19, 2026.

Bill joined Litchfield Cavo in 2011 as a partner in our New Jersey office, making it his professional home for nearly 15 years. Throughout his career, Bill was a steadfast advocate for his clients and colleagues, with an exceptional gift for writing and thoughtful legal analysis. He had a remarkable talent for making difficult work look effortless.

Bill was also fun, generous, enthusiastic and authentic, and a genuinely good person who cared deeply about helping the people around him feel capable and valued.

An avid gardener, Bill understood the rewards of patience and care. He brought that same spirit to his work and relationships, helping the New Jersey office grow, nurturing lasting client relationships and giving generously to the Scout community he cared about.

Bill was patient and empathetic with a calm presence and extraordinary compassion. His kindness was unwavering, and his final act of selflessness was to help other people through his gift of organ donation.

Bill was a devoted husband and father of three, and a treasured friend to many. His warmth and quiet ability to make people feel at ease will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
