Kristin concentrates her practice in the areas of general liability and insurance defense litigation, including personal injury liability and construction defense cases. Her representative experience includes matters involving premises liability, motor vehicle accidents and personal injury claims.
Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Kristin practiced at a civil litigation firm where she handled plaintiff’s matters involving premises liability, trucking accidents and personal injury claims. Her experience representing plaintiffs in personal injury matters gives her a valuable perspective in insurance defense, enabling her the ability to anticipate opposing counsel’s approach, understand their strategies and develop an effective defense. Kristin previously represented a nationally recognized retail commercial and investment bank as outside counsel in Texas garnishment proceedings and related appeals. She also has significant transactional experience, primarily representing large publicly traded and privately held oil and gas companies.
