Hector concentrates his practice on insurance defense, employment and labor law, and toxic tort defense. He represents employers, insurers, businesses and institutional clients in complex matters and develops practical strategies to efficiently resolve their legal disputes. Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Hector was a trial lawyer at a boutique litigation firm where he focused on employment and labor law. While national coordinating counsel in multijurisdictional and international matters he represented institutional clients while coordinating cases with insurers, local counsel and other stakeholders to develop trial strategies. Hector previously represented clients in toxic tort litigation at a national law trial firm, handling complex matters involving more than 100 defendants.
Earlier in his career, Hector clerked with the U.S. Department of Justice. He assisted various Associate United States Attorneys (AUSA), including Jana Brady to defend United States civil matters and prosecute federal criminal cases. His experience provided a strong foundation in legal research, writing, case assessment and advocacy.
