BRADFORD A. LEHEW
Bradford’s practice centers on labor
and employment law in management defense as well as employment
law counseling and compliance training. He also focuses on condominium
law and related litigation, condominium association counseling,
and directors and officers’ liability for small and non-profit
organizations.
Bradford is the co-author of Chapter 4S in
the Employment Discrimination Practice Handbook published
by the Illinois Institute for Continuing Education. The chapter
addresses the practical applications of the Americans with Disabilities
Act.
Before joining Litchfield Cavo LLP in 2005,
Bradford served as a law clerk for the Honorable James F. Henry
(Ret.), Circuit Court of Cook County. While at Chicago-Kent College
of Law, Bradford also served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable
Ilana D. Rovner, United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh
Circuit. He also completed Chicago-Kent’s Litigation and
Alternative Resolution Certificate program.
Bradford is a member of the Alliance of Bar
Associations for Judicial Screening, where he has served both
as a general and chair-qualified investigator. He also serves
on the Judicial Evaluation Committee of the Lesbian and Gay Bar
Association of Chicago.
Bradford is a dedicated member of the International
Gay Bowling Association, serving as a League Representative since
2005 and the Bylaws Committee Chairperson since 2007. In 2009,
he was elected to the national board of directors as the Regional
Director for the Upper Mississippi Valley Region, which encompasses
Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota,
Nebraska, Kansas and Colorado. He was also active in the Chicago
Gay Games VII (2006), serving as Bowling Co-director for Chicago
2006 Inc., the Chicago Gay Games Bidding Organization, and as
Bowling Co-director for the Games.
